January 2005 China. The Kids to Kids programme is an initiative that the Oneness-Heart-Tears and Smiles is promoting as way for school children to reach out and help other children in need.
The founder Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) started the OHTS in 1991 after Mikail Gorbachev made a personal request to him for help to children in Russia. Similar programms were started in India and South Africa in cooperation with Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela.
